Día maratoniano ayer en el Billabong Pro Tahiti, donde a pesar de las difíciles condiciones, se vieron mejores olas que el dia anterior. Los tops brasileños no tuvieron demasiada suerte en Ronda 1, pero supieron resarcirse en la de repesca.
Como cosas a destacar, una ola de John John Florence, y la manga que enfrentaba a CJ y a Nat Young y que acabó llevaándose el veterano surfer de Florida con un 9,80 al final de la manga.
La incógnita es si hoy se hará el campenato se hará «lay day». La rumorología dice que continuará hoy mismo, y en ese caso Aritz entraría sobre las 23:00 hora peninsular.
